Louth’s electorate will get a chance to hear from and ask questions of candidates representing the UK Independence Party (UKIP) next week ahead of the European Elections on May 22.
A public meeting will be held at Louth Town Hall, Eastgate, on Thursday May 8, and features the five MEP candidates for the East Midlands. It starts at 7.30pm and admission is free.
They will be highlighting key campaign issues including immigration, energy and a referendum on membership of the European Union.
Roger Helmer MEP is UKIP’s lead candidate in the region. He is the party’s Energy spokesman and has appeared on BBC’s Question Time. He will be joined by the other candidates Margot Parker, Jonathan Bullock, Nigel Wickens and Barry Mahoney.
