Amber the horse being looked after at the Ark.

Six weeks ago we introduced our latest campaign, helping the animals at the Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement home in North Somercotes.

We have already had a fantastic response and dozens of donations have already been collected, but more is still needed over the cold winter to help animals like Amber the horse to keep warm and healthy.

The Ark is run through donations, so any bedding or animal food that can be donated by kind-hearted people is hugely appreciated.

The Ark is requesting bedding (no feathers please), duvets, pillows, cushions, blankets, sheets, old curtains, towels, hay, cat food, meat, biscuits, kitten food and dog food (tinned and dry), rabbit and guinea pig food, and carrots.

On behalf of the Ark, we would like to thank all of our generous readers for the donations that have already been made. Please continue to bring your donations in to our office at 44 Eastgate, Louth.
