Police were able to recover a stolen quad bike this morning, just two hours after it was reported missing. Other stolen items were also recovered, and two people have now been arrested in connection with the theft.
The theft took place overnight last night (Tuesday February 25) and the quad bike was stolen from a property at South Reston.
This was reported to Lincolnshire Police at 6.19am today (Wednesday February 26).
Humberside Police assisted with the case, and within two hours they were able to find the quad bike inside a van near the M18. The quad bike had been fitted with a tracker system, which enabled police to identify its location.
Humberside Police arrested two men from West Yorkshire, and both have now been taken into police custody for questioning.
