POLICE have issued an update on the woman seriously when her car hit a lorry on the A18 at Ludborough earlier this month.
The 54-year-old remains in hospital after having her right arm pinned and plated after a major break. She also has broken ribs and bruising and underwent further x-rays today (Friday).
Her broken vertebrae may require further operations at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Police say she lives overseas, but has a Louth connection.
She was airlifted from the scene to Grimsby Hospital.
The road was closed for 14 hours after the July 9 smash in which the woman’s Peugeot 107 hit a DAF lorry at around 9.40am. The lorry driver, a 59-year-old Cleveland man was uninjured.
