Update: Woman stable as A18 remains closed after crash
THE A18 at Ludborough remains closed after this morning’s serious crash.
Police say the recovery of the lorry may take some hours as its contents have to be transferred to another vehicle before it can be righted and dragged out. The injured woman, a 54-year-old believed to be connected to Louth but currently living overseas, is stable at Grimsby Hospital and her injuries aren’t considered to be life threatening.

Monday - 11.16am - THE A18 road at Ludborough, near Louth, is currently closed after a vehicle collided with an articulated lorry.
The crash took place around 9.40am this morning (Monday) when the a Peugeot 107 hit the DAF lorry.
The lorry driver, a 59-year-old man from Cleveland was not seriously injured but the female driver of the Peugeot was airlifted to hopsital from the scene.
