Video: All change for education in Mablethorpe as primary school becomes academy

IT’S all change for local education in Mablethorpe as the town’s primary school reopens as an academy from Wednesday.

The school has been rebranded as Mablethorpe Primary Academy, with head Catherine Teale stepping up to principal, under the Nottingham-based Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust.

In all 470 pupils between the ages of three and 11 will be catered for under the academy, and Mablethorpe joins three other schools in the Skegness area as part of Greenwood Dale’s east coast portfolio.
