Video: HSBC share final total from their successful charity fundraising day
LOUTH’S HSBC bank has raised a final total of £1,837.06 from their successful charity fundraising day, held in April this year.
Funds raised from the day will go towards Pancreatic Cancer, as currently the disease is the UK’s 5th biggest cancer killer and yet only receives 1 per cent of funding. The local branch decided to raise money for this particular worthy cause, as it’s a charity close to their hearts. One of their former employees has the disease and they wanted to show him the dedication they have put in to help support this vital cause.
The charity fundraising day included a sponsored cycle ride inside the bank alongside a cake stall and raffle.
This short video clips takes us inside the branch where they wish to thank their loyal customers for helping to support the cause by donating and all the staff that participated on the day.
For more information regarding how you can help Pancreatic Cancer get the debate it deserves in Parliament, sign the petition on http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/22411.
