Video: Hundreds brave the rain for Sutton on Sea Christmas fayre

Waiting for Video...

Hundreds descended on Sutton on Sea High Street on Friday night for the annual Christmas fayre, despite the wet weather.

A fantastic time was had by all with late night shopping, stalls and entertainment, mulled wine, BBQs, live music, carol singing and Santa on his sleigh.

Town Manager for Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea, Karen Froggatt, said: “Both Christmas events in Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea went very well.

“Unfortunately Friday night in Sutton on Sea was not helped by the rainy weather but it was still great to see people still turning out.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers who took part in the organisation of both events, which added some great festive cheer to the High Streets.”

Watch the video to see town crier Roy Palmer in action at the Sutton on Sea Christmas fayre, and don’t miss the Leader on Wednesday for a photo special from two fantastic local events.
