Video: Louth Market stall erector calls it a day after 37 years
A WELL-loved market stall erector from Louth is bringing the curtain down after 37 years’ service after deciding to retire.
Bob Parrinder turns 65 on Thursday, and is looking forward to some well earned rest after thousands of 5am starts.
Bob says he has plenty to do around the house to keep him busy, but promises to pop back every now and again to see his old friends, the traders and fellow stall workers.
Traders all signed a card, as did East Lindsey District Council staff, and gave him a fitting send off on Wednesday morning.
Bob’s shift officially finishes on Thursday evening, when he will help pack away Mablethorpe market for the final time.
