The manager of The Ranch Steakhouse & Grill in Louth has spoken of the horrific moment that he encountered a devastating fire in his restaurant, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
General Manager Oliver Crossland believes that the restaurant may not be able to reopen for at least two months.
Mr Crossland told the Louth Leader: “Yesterday at around 3.35pm a small fire broke out at the back of The Ranch and quickly got out of control.
“Work was being taken out by contractors, who were working on the roof. We are staying positive about the whole situation and are currently in negotiations with our insurance company.
“The Ranch will be back as soon as possible and we will work to our absolute limits to get our steakhouse back up and running and to be bigger and better than ever.
“Me and my Dad, Neil, would also like to say thank you to our staff, family and close friends who have been very supportive as well as our customers, who have been fantastic, very understanding and have offered to help us in any way they can.
“Of course, the most important thing that nobody was hurt.”
