Louth residents and visitors to the town were revved up after the best Louth Bike Night to date with more than 2,800 bikes in attendance, on Thursday June 5.
A wide variety of bikes both new, classic and vintage were flooding into town by 4.30pm and flow of riders coming through town did not stop until 8.30pm.
With over 1,500 visitors flocking along to town and perfect sunshine, the event with a great success with local band Klout performing in the centre, and many market stalls and businesses benefiting from the added footfall.
The event was organised by the Louth Lions and they would like to thank the general public and the bikers for coming along and supporting the event, but mostly the stalls and local businesses who got behind the event.
Also they wish to say an added thanks to the police and the St John Ambulance staff who got behind the event.
All the proceeds raised from this year’s Bike Night will go to the Lions and will be spent locally in the community.
