VIDEO: New singing initiative could improve your health
A new pilot scheme which aims to improve the health of people across East Lindsey by learning to sing is being delivered by East Lindsey District Council.
The scheme, which is part of the Council’s Arts on Prescription programme, is being piloted as an additional activity to the HEELERS scheme and is aimed at improving health through Arts and Cultural activities.
Research demonstrates that the Arts are particularly good for helping to address mental health issues.
Take a look at some of the singing lessons taking place at the Mablethorpe Community Hall on Tuesday afternoon, October 9.
