Video: Snow showers hit Louth as freezing weather grips
The forecast of snow for Louth has arrived, and it does appear to be getting heavier.
The Met Office warned of wintry showers this afternoon and going into this evening, bringing up to 5cm of snow and 15cm on high ground.
The snow showers on Monday brought plenty of problems for motorists in the Louth area, with two stranded lorries blocking the road at Burgh on Bain and smaller incidents dotted around the county.
But if you do get to enjoy the white stuff, please send your snowy snaps in this weekend to sam.kinnaird@jpress.co.uk or share them on our Facebook and Twitter pages and we will publish as many as we can online and in the paper!
