Video: Special Day for Louth couple celebrating diamond wedding anniversary
LOUTH couple Leslie and Eileen Day are celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on September 11, and have put their years of success down to ‘simply working together’.
The couple met in the town centre and were married way back in 1952 at St James’ Church in Louth.
“There is no secret to our long marriage,” said Leslie.
“We work together, and we work at it so we don’t drift apart. If you have differences you should always make them up.”
The couple are celebrating with a big bash at the Splash pub in Little Cawthorpe on their big day.
