VIDEO: St George’s Day celebrated in Louth

ST George’s Day was celebrated in Louth today (Monday) with a proclamation read out by town crier Roy Palmer in the Market Place.
He was accompanied by the Mayor of Louth, Coun Brian Burnett, pages and St George on horseback.
The Mayor handed out roses to young ladies courtesy of All Occasions and the horse was provided by Circle A Ranch in Alford.
Coun Jill Makinson-Sanders handed out copies of the book Sleepy Head by Mark Billingham to mark World Book Night.
