The Wheatsheaf Golf Society has given a generous donation of £500 to Louth Hospice.
The group of golfers, who are based at the Wheatsheaf pub in Westgate and play around Lincolnshire, accumulated the money from members and wanted to give it to a good cause.
Hospice trustee Doreen Stephenson thanked the society and said it was another good boost now the day hospice is open.
She said it was a ‘fantastic gesture’.
President Joy Harrison, Captain Steve Cooney, Secretary Michael Kheng and members handed over the money alongside Wheatsheaf landlady Linda Proctor.
