Waiting for Video...

YOUNG journalists at Saltfleetby Primary School are tackling local issues by creating their own school newspaper.

With an editor, reporters, sub-editors, photographers and designers, they are taking on all the tasks required to set up a publication.

Teacher Julie Pocklington has led the pupils through the design stage, as well as taking pictures and writing up their own stories.

Leader reporter Sam Kinnaird and photographer Ian Holmes went along to the school on Wednesday to answer questions and help the pupils learn their trade.

Watch the video to take a sneak peak at the pupils’ work.
