Wheelie bin collections over Christmas
East Lindsey District Council has issued its opening times for the Christmas and New Year period.
Customer Service Centres across East Lindsey will be closing at 1pm on Monday, December 24 and will re-open on Thursday, December 27 with normal opening hours, closing again for New Years Day, Tuesday January 1.
Refuse and Recycling Collections will not take place on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day, with some collections scheduled for Christmas Day being collected on Christmas Eve.
Those residents who would normally have a refuse and recycling collection on these days, are asked to check their online collection calendar at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk for their revised collection date or call 01507 601111.
The council run leisure facilities will also have varied opening hours:
Station Sports Centre, Mablethorpe –
Saturday, December 22 – Sunday, December 23 – Open from 8.30am – 4pm.
Monday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Open from 8am – 12pm.
Christmas Day and Boxing Day – CLOSED
Thursday, December 27 – Monday, December 31 – Open from 8am until 12pm.
New Years Day – CLOSED
Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth –
Sunday, December 16 – Sunday, December 23 - Open as normal (Please note: the dance studios will be closed from 16 – 18 December and the Swimming Pools will be closed 19 – 21 December)
Monday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Open from 7am – 1pm.
Christmas Day and Boxing Day – CLOSED
Thursday, December 27 – Friday, December 28 – Open from 9am – 4pm.
Saturday, December 29 – Sunday, December 30 – Open as normal.
Monday, December 31 – Open from 7am – 1pm
News Years Day - CLOSED

Monday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Open from 9am until 12pm.
Christmas Day and Boxing Day - CLOSED
Thursday, December 27 - Open 3pm – 9pm
Friday, December 28 – January 2 - CLOSED
