William Hill bookmakers are hoping to move into 58 Eastgate, the site of the former BTG Travel Agents. The company has already applied to East Lindsey District Council for a betting licence, and which is currently under consideration.

Any objections (from those with homes or businesses “sufficiently close to the premises that might be affected”) must be raised with the district council before Tuesday April 8.

Part-time customer service assistant vacancies for “William Hill - Louth” have been advertised on a popular job search website since last week.
