Woman cut from car after crash in Mablethorpe

A WOMAN from Alford had to be cut free from her car when it crashed in Mablethorpe on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old was driving a Ford Focus when it crashed in Golf Road at around 9.13pm, it appears no other vehicles were involved.

Two fire and rescue crews, from Mablethorpe and Alford, rushed to the scene and cut the roof off the car to allow her to get out.

Police say a paramedic was on the scene but the woman did not need urgent medical care.
