Local groups have been given money from East Lindsey District Council’s Councillor Community Grants scheme.

Coun Sarah Dodds has granted £250 to the Louth 13+ Project to help support positive activities which promote self-confidence, social awareness and raise aspirations.

Coun Philip Sturman has given £250 and Coun Laura Stephenson has given £500 to Louth Living Well to set up a ‘vulnerable households’ account which will be used to provide furniture and household items for individuals and families who need them most.

Coun Jeremy Webb has given £250 and Coun Jean Bradley has given £750 to the Huttoft Village Hall Committee for the purchase of 24 folding chairs, as well as a trolley to store them in.

Coun Webb has also given £200 to the Memorial Park in Alford to help towards the costs of extending the hours in which the park is lit to reduce anti-social behaviour.
