Louth air cadets fly at RAF Cranwell

CADETS from 1228 Louth Air Cadets are official high flyers after gaining the opportunity to take to the skies.

The flights took place at RAF College Cranwell, where the cadets got to learn how to fly the aircraft and even try some aerobatics while up in the air.

This is an experience which most cadets get to have, normally spending around 30 minutes in the air with an experienced pilot.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 17-years-old and are interested in joining the Air Cadets, or just finding out more about them, go along and visit the squadron in Birch Road (off Wallis Road) – they will be happy to see you.

The cadets meet twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 6.30pm-9pm.

Or call them on 01507 605918 during parade times.
