Three cadets and a staff member from Louth’s 1228 Sqn Air Cadets joined other cadets from Trent Wing at an annual summer camp at RAF Shawbury in Shropshire.

The cadets took to the air in helicopters and gliders and also enjoyed shooting, drill and first aid scenarios during the trip.

The camp also included trips to the cinema, local bowling alley and Drayton Manor Theme Park, in the spare time.
