Louth area villages through to second round of Lincolnshire Best Kept Villages and Small Towns Competition

SEVERAL local villages have made it through to the second round of judging of a prestigious competition.

Little Cawthorpe, Donington on Bain and Tetney are in the running for the Lincolnshire Best Kept Villages and Small Towns Competition.

They will now go through to the second round of judging in August to try and secure a place in September’s final round.

North Thoresby is in the past winners section of the competition which will be judged in September.

The competition is organised by Teresa Palmer of Community Lincs. She said: “This year’s second round results will be exciting to watch.”
