Staff at the Louth branch of The Nottingham Building Society are looking for local community groups needing some help with their project.
They have teamed up with Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, who work with other community foundations nationally, to distribute small grants to grass-root causes to aid work being done locally.
Alan Cope, manager for the Louth branch of the Nottingham said: “We have a long and rich history of helping out local communities and we’re looking to support projects that really help people thrive and prosper.
“Home is also very important to us so we’re also looking for projects that reduce homelessness or even help people to get back on their feet.”
The initiative is part of the society’s ‘Doing Good Together’ scheme which has seen almost £70,000 given away.
The scheme is open for applications until March 23 and full details can be obtained from any branch of The Nottingham or online via: www.thenottingham.com.
