Louth businessman Michael Rice says thanks for London Marathon support

LOCAL businessman Michael Rice has thanked everyone who supported him running the recent London Marathon.

Michael completed the marathon in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity and Breast Cancer Care – the two charities had joined forces for the event, under the name Team PB.

Pictured with Michael are Lindy Jaines and Sara Richards, of Kenwick Leisure Club, who both completed the Paris Marathon last year and kindly decided to donate £515 collected from that event to Michael’s fund for Team PB, bringing the total he has collected, so far, to over £3,200.

Michael thanked everyone who has given so generously and supporting him.

Particular mention should also go to the Louth Conservative Working Men’s Club charity fund, for providing the sum of £500.

He will be keeping the fund open for donations until June 1, so if anyone would like to donate please call at his offices at 11 Mercer Row, Louth or visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/RicharsMJRice .
