Air Cadets from 1228 Louth have honoured the famous 625 Bomber Command squadron at the memorial at nearby Kelstern, where the 625 was formed way back in 1943.

The parade took just over an hour, with quotes from scripture, prayers and laying of wreaths.

Cadet Ladley collected a cheque on behalf of 1228 for being custodians of the memorial and cadet Hardy was presented with the Endeavour Shield and a £50 cheque for the cadets.

Cadet Hardy also won the award for signing up for her outstanding commitment.
