Louth charity ball raises £4,650 for Marie Curie Cancer Care with boost from Santander

MARIE Curie Cancer Care has received a huge boost of £4,650 from a charity ball at the Kenwick Park Hotel.

The amount raised at the ball last year also included a contribution from Santander.

Wendy Barker, who organised the ball along with Adam Beevers and Sam Donner who work at Kenwick, wanted to give something back to the charity that has helped her and her late mum.

She said: “The money goes to this area.”

They are holding another ball for Marie Curie at Kenwick on Saturday October 6 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £30 which includes a four course meal, drinks on arrival, entertainment, games and auction.
