A COMMUNITY art exhibition which has helped disguise an empty leisure premises in Louth will be formally unveiled on Thursday April 19.
Students from all primary and secondary schools in Louth entered a competition to design Olympic-inspired art for the boarded over windows at the former Louth Swimming Pool premises in Riverhead Road.
The winners of the competition went on to paint their designs at Wolds College and the finished artwork will be available for all to see.
The project was spearheaded by Sgt Lee Willoughby, from Louth Police Station.
Sgt Willoughby said: “This really has been a community based project that will enhance the appearance of a former community facility and all the students should be justifiably proud”.
