A LOCAL Louth councillor is honouring a special Lincolnshire couple who death left a ‘huge gap’ in their community.
As a tribute, the couple have been recognised with a special posthumous Good Citizens Award.
A tree is going to be planted in their memory by County Council Chairman, Coun Robert Palmer
Coun Palmer said: “The loss of two so loved within their community is both regretful and saddening.
“In such a short time, they become entwined members of such a wonderful community.
“Their tireless volunteer work is being deservedly honoured, by a community who had the privilege of meeting such a wonderful pair.”
