The ninth annual Colin Blades Memorial Fund Charity football match takes place on Saturday July 13 at Park Avenue ground.
The match will see a Lincolnshire league Select XI team take on Louth Town FC, the most successful Louth team ever finishing third in the league last season.
Following the main match, a Colin Blades fund over 35 team will play a Kerry Coggle over 35 team in memory of these two Louth sportsmen.
Anybody who would like to play in the Bladesy team should contact Eddie Clark by texting 07824 324160.
Anybody who would like to play for the Coggles team should contact Armo by texting 07768 629447.
It is a 30 minute each way with roll on roll of subs so no one will be too old or unfit to take part.
So everyone who played with or were friends of Colin or Kerry dust off your boots and come on down.
The match is now in its ninth year and is played in memory of Colin Blades.
This year the fund lost a great friend Kerry who helped set up the first game in memory of Colin so it seemed a fitting tribute to play a game in memory of him also.
Over the last nine years the fund has raised over £35,000 and this has gone to help
local people and sports at grass roots level within the district.
There will also be a raffle and barbeque on the match day and if you would like to donate a raffle prize, please take it on the day.
Gates open at 12.30pm and the first kick off is scheduled for 1pm.
Admission fees are £2.50 (adults) and £1 (under 16s).
