The 7th Louth Guides put on a sensational Christmas Fayre earlier this month, raising a grand total of £500 which will be split between the Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The money was raised through a raffle, tombola, games, a cake stall and crafts made by the Guides, including magic reindeer food.

The Guides also donated around £100 worth of food for the Community Larder, and the unit helped to clean St James’ Church back in November. Guide Leader Claire Mansey said: “The event was very well supported and all the Guides all worked very hard.”
