Louth International Women’s Association are eagerly anticipating the next monthly meeting on April 3, when Dr Caitlin Green will give a talk on prostitution in Victorian Louth.

Dr Green is a local historian and writer whose professional interests lie in the history, archaeology, place-names and literature of late Roman and early medieval Britain.

Local to Louth, she puts a special focus on Lincolnshire and the Louth area and has given several fascinating talks locally. The Origins of Louth is one of her numerous publications and riveting reading for people interested in history and archaeology.
