Louth Lions Club charity tractor run from Louth

TRACTOR owners are preparing for Louth & District Lions Club’ Tractor Run on July 8.

Drivers taking part in the charity rally will make an early start by signing-in at sponsor Peacock & Binnington’s premises in Grimsby Road, Louth, from 8am, before making their way to the Cornmarket.

There families will have the chance to take a closer look at their favourites and learn more about the world of tractors, before the drivers set off on their non-competitive run at 10.30am.

The rally route will take the tractors on and off-road, but everyone will be able to catch-up with them again when they arrive in the field next to Ludborough Station, at around 12.30pm.

There will be a display of agricultural vehicles, a hog roast, ice creams, children’s rides and steam train trips from the station to North Thoresby.
