Louth man charged with stealing 112 cans of Lynx deodorant

A man has pleaded not guilty to three theft charges in Louth, in which he allegedly stole two Gillette razors, an Armani gift set, and 112 cans of Lynx deodorant earlier this month.

Martin Edward Fox, 40, of Longleat Drive, allegedly committed the first theft at Superdrug in Louth on January 2, stealing 67 cans of Lynx and the Armani gift set, worth a total £268.73.

The second alleged theft took place three days later, on January 5, when 32 cans of Lynx were stolen from Superdrug, worth £111.86. The third alleged theft took place on January 7 at Wilkinsons in Louth, in which 12 cans of Lynx and two Gillette razors were stolen, worth a total £57.59.

Fox appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court yesterday (January 8), pleading not guilty to all charges. He was granted conditional bail and will next appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on April 14 for the trial.
