A Louth man is awaiting sentence after being found guilty of multiple sex offences, including three counts of raping a child under the age of 16.

Robin Anthony Fenton, 48, of Jubilee Crescent, was found guilty of 14 charges in total, including the three rape charges, 10 indecent assaults against a female under the age of 16, and a further charge of indecency with children.

During the two week trial at Lincoln Crown Court last month, the jury found Fenton not guilty of a further 16 sexual offence charges.

Fenton has been remanded in custody, and no date has been set for his sentencing at this stage.
