Louth man gets MBE

A LOUTH man was awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours.

Roger John Pope was given the award for services to higher education.

Mr Pope was formerly Head of Student Services, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Music Examiner, Trinity College, London.

Also in the New Year Honours Richard Crompton, Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police, received the Queen’s Police Medal.
