Louth man’s GBH charges to go before Crown Court

A TWENTY-five-year-old Louth man has appeared before magistrates at Skegness charged with four counts of inflicting grievous bodily harm on the same victim.

The victim cannot be named for legal reasons.

The incidents are all alleged to have taken place between July 12 and August 27 last year.

Samuel William Louth of Northgate entered no pleas to the charges.

John Mitchell, prosecuting, said the alleged offences were too severe and the evidence too lengthy to be dealt with in the magistrates’ court.

The magistrates agreed and adjourned the cases until August 23, when they will be committed for trial at Lincoln Crown Court.

Louth was granted unconditional bail.
