A special exhibition of ‘Air Raids in Louth’ will kick off the 2016 season for Louth Museum which opens today (Wednesday, March 30).

The exhibition is set to remind people just how small market towns like Louth were affected durin the Second World War.

Geoff Hill, a volunteer atthe museum, who is co-ordinating the exhibition said: “We have had a lot of help from local people with family stories and items about the war, and especially the air raids, lives were lost in the raid of 1941, and we hope this will be a fitting reminder of the events of 75 years ago.”

The museum will be open from Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm.

Admission is £4 for adults, concessions £3 and are unbder 18s are free. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
