Louth passion play The Vigil at Easter

LOUTH passion play The Vigil will be performed at Monks’ Dyke Technology College on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, at 7.30pm both nights.

This courtroom drama questions whether the resurrection was a hoax or a life-changing truth.

One key witness for the defence is Mary of Magdala (or Magdalene) who was the first to meet with the risen Lord.

Can the prosecution discredit her as a woman with an immoral past who is delusional, or will her own account of what she has experienced and what she feels win over the jury?

Tickets are available from local churches, Wrights in Eastgate, Eve & Ranshaw in the Market Place and Off the Beaten Tracks in Aswell Street.
