LOUTH resident Kate Levey is celebrating Louth’s new status as Britain’s Favourite Market Town with a picturesque display of the town’s best sights in a vacant shop.
Kate has launched an exhibition entitled ‘Louth in 2012’ at 13 Mercer Row, lasting until September 14, to celebrate the news.
People can go along and see the display anytime before then.
As reported, BBC Countryfile Magazine readers voted for Louth as their favourite market town last week.
Kate said: “We have a colourful market town with many visual delights.
“Come and have a look and see if you can recognise where each photo is taken from. Or just glance and see if Louth looks good through the lens!”
