Louth residents are being reminded that the display of the proposals for both flood alleviation areas in the town are still on public display at the Louth Library until Saturday (February 7).

The scheme is set to be submitted for planning permission in March, and the proposed £6.5 million project will create two reservoirs outside the town to reduce risk from the River Lud.

The Project Manager and Environmental Agency staff will be at Louth Library on Saturday from 10am until 12 noon.

The information will then be transferred to The Sessions House for further access from next week.
