Louth school project gets mark of quality from Olympic chiefs

A PHYSICAL activity project, delivered at a Louth school, has been turned into a national project.

Flames: Lighting the Way is a volunteer project which allows young leaders at Cordeaux School to develop links with local primary schools and sees students plan and deliver physical activity sessions to youngsters.

It has now received the Olympic Inspire Mark from the London 2012 organisers.

“I am delighted this project has received an Inspire Mark, which again shows our area’s strong connections to London 2012,” said Coun Adam Grist, of East Lindsey District Council.
