Kind-hearted team members and customers from the Wilko store in Eastgate, Louth are celebrating raising more than £3,900 for Breast Cancer Care over the past year.

Breast Cancer Care, which is the store’s regional charity of the year, supports people affected by breast cancer and their families. The kind donation will give a valuable boost to the charity’s vital emotional support services.

Tracey Clark, store manager of Wilko in Louth, said: “What a fantastic year we’ve had raising money for Breast Cancer Care – we’ve proved that where there’s a Wilko, there’s a way to support good causes in our area. We were inspired to support this charity because it helps so many people in the community, and it’s been so rewarding. We couldn’t have raised such a brilliant amount without the help of our loyal customers, who kindly reached into their pockets and gave whatever they could to help.”

Shurron Rosales, partnership development lead at Breast Cancer Care, commented: “We are so grateful to the Wilko team members and their customers in Louth for their fundraising efforts.”
