Mablethorpe father and daughter duo Clive and Chantel Curry recently undertook a charity abseil for the Linkage Community Trust and in memory of local lad Marcus Shaw has raised nearly £500.

Clive said: “I would like to thank everyone who sponsored, donated or supported me and my daughter Chantel on our abseiling experience in Lincoln.

“Once again my family and friends and the good people of Mablethorpe have done us proud.

“I would also like to add a personal thank you to the grandparents of Marcus Shaw who came to witness the event, I know how difficult it was for them, but their presence was very much appreciated.”
