OVER 150 people laced up and took part in the Mablethorpe Sport Relief races on Sunday.

There were one, three and six mile courses on offer each starting from the promenade.

The one-miler was won by 12-year-old Tennyson School pupil Riley Hall in a rapid five minutes 30 seconds.

Debbie Prince of race organisers Neighbourhood Management said: “We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that took part in this event raising a lot of money for Sport Relief.

“Also thanks to Dale Chapman at Mablethorpe RNLI for letting us use the RNLI Station and to the marshalls: Lorna Campion, Marilyn Swift, Tony Howard, June Jones, Gordon and Pat Leesley, Gordon Mahoney. Christian Baker, Janet Wild, Sylvia Dore, Dennis and Eileen Lowe.”
