Man airlifted to hospital after Theddlethorpe collision

A man was taken to hospital by air ambulance following a two-car collision in Stain Lane, Theddlethorpe.

Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue crews from Mablethorpe, Louth and Alford attended the scene shortly after the incident was reported at around 7.20pm on Sunday evening (June 11).

The fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release one male driver, who is believed to have suffered minor injuries.

Both cars were made safe by the crews at the scene.

Lincolnshire Police also attended the scene, and the Alford & Mablethorpe neighbourhood policing team thanked East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and the fire crews for their assistance and cooperation.
