Mayor of Louth to mark Queen’s reign next week

The Mayor of Louth, Coun Sue Lockin, will hold a coffee morning and raffle at Lloyds Bank, Mercer Row, on Wednesday (September 9) in honour of Queen Elizabeth II becoming the longest ever reigning monarch of England.

The event will run from 9.30am - 1pm on the day, which will be the 65th year and 217th day of the Queen’s reign.

All proceeds from the coffee morning and raffle will go to the Mayor’s Charities.

The Union Flag will be flying at The Sessions House to mark the occasion.
