Two men that allegedly dressed up in panda onesies have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a Louth newsagents last month.

The two local men, aged 17 and 21, were arrested yesterday (Tuesday, December 15) on suspicion of robbery, burglary and theft from a shop.

The incident took place at McColl’s newsagent in Eastgate, Louth on November 29 at around 7.30pm.

They have been released on police bail until December 23 to allow the investigation to continue.
