Merlin’s Keep singer Simon Naylor writes book of poems about the Lincolnshire Wolds

THE BEAUTY of the Wolds is evoked in a new book of poetry.

Simon Naylor’s collection Feeling The Earth, Touching The Sky was inspired by several Louth area views.

Poems include At Cabourne, High on Red Hill Nature Reserve, Withern Farm, The Wind Blown Ballet and The Golden Fall of Autumn.

For every copy sold £1 goes to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

He has already handed over £100 to them from the proceeds.

Simon, from Grimsby, is the singer songwriter with Lincolnshire folk band Merlin’s Keep.

He is hoping to have the book at the launch of the upcoming Walking Festival.

Published by Moonfruit Books it is on sale priced £3.99 at Wrights of Louth, Waterstones and Amazon.
